The Frazier Kid Foundation

The Frazier Kid Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 2021 with a mission to expose disadvantaged and underrepresented youth to careers in the arts. Founded in 2021 by Brian Frazier, the Frazier Kid Foundation was created to be a permanent solution to developing youth as productive and prosperous citizens.

Through his production company, Frazier Kid Productions, LLC, Brian and his team have worked on projects for such clients as Microsoft, A&E Television Network, Black Entertainment (BET), TLC Network, Goodwill Industries of Michiana, University of Notre Dame, and more. Additionally, Brian has worked for WNDU, WHME, and WNIT television stations in South Bend, IN, and brings more than 15 years of broadcasting experience to the foundation. His goal is to share what he’s learned through all of these experiences with the youth of Michiana.

Filming for a Better Future

A partnership between Vincennes University, Indiana Parenting Institute, and New Beginnings Center for Change offers the “Filming for a Better Future” program in South Bend, providing hands-on videography workshops for low-income, first-generation high school students, aiming to reduce youth crime and violence.

College Scholarships

The “See More, Be More” Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a Michiana high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who plans on attending Tennessee State University (or any other HBCU if the preference is not available)

The “Greg Frazier Essential Needs” Scholarship

In memory of Greg Frazier, this scholarship will be awarded to a current college student to buy essential needs while on campus.

HBCU Tour

After an inspiring tour of historically black colleges and universities, Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Tennessee State University. Now, he and the foundation plan to take local Michiana students on a similar tour to raise awareness of HBCUs and dispel myths associated with them.
