The Frazier Kid Foundation was created to expose at-risk and underrepresented youth to careers in the arts. Brian Frazier birthed this mission after watching his parents serve the Michiana community for many years through a program they created titled “New Beginnings Center for Change.”

The New Beginnings Program was a beacon of hope, designed to change the lives of ordinary people by expanding their awareness of resources and equipping them with spiritual and natural tools to excel in life. It was a program that found job placements for ex-offenders, provided counseling and rehabilitation services for people dealing with substance abuse, and even offered clothing to the homeless. This program, with its tangible impact, is the inspiration behind the Frazier Kid Foundation, and it’s this potential for change that we aim to bring to the youth of Michiana.

With such excellent examples in front of him, it’s no wonder why servitude is a part of Brian’s DNA. In 2018, Brian began teaching students video production in the Fort Wayne Community through the 21st Scholars program. He enjoyed it so much that he continued to offer it and expand it for three years until it had to, unfortunately, cease due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To this day, Brian keeps in touch with some of the students from the program, and a few of them have pursued video production after graduating high school.

After being forced to stop the program due to COVID-19, Brian pivoted to creating his own foundation that would allow him to provide youth in his community with the same opportunity to learn a valuable trade. By doing so, he hopes to give them something positive to do after school in a safe environment while at the same time opening their minds toward careers in the arts and entrepreneurship.
